Encompass Health names 2 new rehab hospital CEOs

Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health, the largest owner and operator of rehabilitation hospitals in the U.S., recently appointed new CEOs at two of its facilities.

  • Encompass Health and Portland-based MaineHealth have appointed Michelle Fitzgerald as CEO of the New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland.

  • Encompass Health has also named Natalie Ryder, MSN, RN, as CEO of the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee in Florida.
    Ms. Ryder previously served as a regional vice president of nursing for the Ascension Borgess Hospital in Eastwood, Mich., and as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, according to a Nov. 4 news release shared with Becker’s.
