ChristianaCare to open $70M inpatient rehab hospital

ChristianaCare is planning a freestanding acute inpatient rehabilitation facility in Newark, Del., the Delaware Business Times reported Nov. 4.

The $70 million joint venture with the Onix Group, a real estate developer, will be a 92,000-square-foot, three-story facility. It will accommodate 73 private inpatient rooms.

The system has filed a notice of intent with the Delaware Health Resources Board and is waiting for approval.
