The free-standing, 80-bed facility will provide specialized rehab services and nearly double the system’s capacity for inpatient rehabilitation care, according to a May 8 system news release. The building will house all of the system’s rehabilitation units.

Pending regulatory approval, construction will begin in 2025 with an anticipated open date of 2027. Upon completion, Lifepoint will manage day-to-day operations.
