In partnership with Ukraine’s Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center, Atrium Health will host a series of visits with Ukrainian clinicians to share best practices, clinical strategies and care solutions, according to a Nov. 8 news release from Atrium Health.

Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation, which is part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, is the only U.S. rehabilitation hospital currently serving on the World Health Organization’s World Rehabilitation Alliance.

Ukraine established the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center due to the increasing number of injured patients from the ongoing war. The organization has grown the country’s rehabilitation capacity from 26 to 260 beds over the past two years, the release said.
