Ms. Barkoff serves as administrator of the Administration for Community Living and is the assistant secretary for aging, according to an Aug. 29 news release from the agency.
She joined the Administration for Community Living on the first day of the Biden administration and will leave in early October.
Ms. Barkoff’s work with the administration included expanding access to Medicaid-funded home- and community-based services along with behavioral healthcare for people with disabilities and older adults, the release said.
