Base payments on Medicare Advantage plans were cut by an average of 0.16% for 2025; however, MA plans are expected to grow by an average of 3.7% in payments, according to CMS. The changes come as the Biden administration looks to make Medicare Advantage payments more accurate and provide money based on the number of documented health issues a patient has, according to the report.
