Miami-based Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System, joined forces with Syapse to launch a new personalized cancer care initiative at the center.
Syapse provides hospitals and health systems with actionable oncology insights through its point-of-care precision medicine software. The solution organizes and presents structured clinical and genomic data to match patients with targeted therapies, based on their clinical and molecular profile.
"At Sylvester, we understand that each patient is unique, that each cancer is unique and, consequently, each cancer treatment has to be unique," said Jonathan C. Trent, MD, PhD, associate director of clinical research at Sylvester and professor of medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. "This partnership with Syapse helps us achieve that goal."
