The researchers — led by Judy H. Ng, PhD, of the National Committee for Quality Assurance in Washington, D.C. — analyzed the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set to determine data availability from commercial, Medicaid and Medicare managed care plans.

The researchers concluded that, for race, ethnicity and language, “data availability varied but remained largely incomplete.”
