Norton Children’s names McDonald’s replacement

Norton Children’s Hospital, formerly Kosair Children’s Hospital, in Louisville, Ky., has chosen Au Bon Pain to replace its former Big Mac-serving, fast food partner, reports Courier-Journal.

Au Bon Pain is a bakery chain and cafe that services bagels, breads, wraps, soups and salads with an espresso bar. Norton Children’s administrators tapped the chain for its “healthy options,” according to the article.

Norton’s Children’s in the 12th hospital in the country to expunge fast food service vendors from its premises, according to Corporate Accountability International, a nonprofit based in Boston.
