The MAP Recovery Network Platform, which focuses on patients suffering from substance abuse disorder, aims to address gaps in treatment programs that only provide short-term care. MAP Health Management has conducted more than 300,000 telehealth sessions for post-treatment recovery support on its platform in the hopes of curbing incidences of substance abuse relapse.

Under the partnership, Watson will capture and analyze case notes from these telehealth visits. This analysis can provide clinicians with insights to inform future patient interactions, including predictions of patients’ relapse risk.
