A new study from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University found inactivity among eight to 11 year olds could cost the U.S. healthcare system as much as $21 billion. Researchers believe these costs could be mitigated if 50 percent of children played outside everyday.
Only 30 percent of kids exercise outside for 25 minutes a day, according to researchers.
