As part of the campaign, a new website has been launched that allows consumers to select a nutritional, physical or emotional challenge to help them take charge of their health.

As the Healthy Driven spokeswoman, Ms. Patrick — who grew up in Roscoe, Ill. — has offered to donate one dollar for each challenge taken on HealthyDriven.com, up to $10,000, to help fight childhood obesity in the Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare service area.

The launch of the campaign comes more than a year after the merger of Edward Hospital and Health Services and Linden Oaks-Edward Hospital in Naperville and Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Healthcare.
