Under the agreement, HealthCura will become a member of the Blue Cross Blue Community and will gain access to the health insurer’s administrative and care coordination expertise. The agreement aims to strengthen both organizations’ long-standing commitments to the Chicago area communities and their residents.

“Agreements such as this serve both the taxpayers and patients,” said Felicia Norwood, director of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. “It is part of the fiscally sustainable way Illinois is providing quality care for its vulnerable citizens.”
