Analysts compared the economy, quality of life and healthcare costs of the 150 most populated cities in the country using a data set of 25 key metric ranges, including “employment rate for people with disabilities” and “number of wheelchair-accessible trails per capita.”
Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale. Overall scores for each state were calculated using the weighted average across all metrics.

- Huntington Beach, Calif. — 56.01
- Honolulu — 55.80
- Irvine, Calif. — 55.49
- Oklahoma City — 54.84
- Chandler, Ariz. — 54.67
