One donation is being made to Save the Children to support its Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. The fund assists children and their families with food, water, hygienic supplies and other immediate needs.

The other is being made to United Health Foundation partner Direct Relief, which will provide critical care medicines, oxygen, and various medical equipment directly to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

“We share deep concern for people in Ukraine amid this humanitarian crisis,” said Patricia Lewis, UnitedHealth Group chief sustainability officer. “This donation will help provide immediate support to families in need, and we’re grateful for the work of both Save the Children and Direct Relief.”
