Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine has opened the WVUH Community Pharmacy, expanding access to pharmacy services for residents, patients, students and employees.
The pharmacy is integrated with the health system’s community pharmacy network, allowing pharmacy staff to work directly with providers through a shared medical record, according to an Aug. 3 news release.
The location offers prescription medications, over-the-counter products, immunizations, medication management, compliance packaging, mail-order pharmacy services and a drive-thru pickup option. It also accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and Peak Health.
