The pharmacy, which can only be used by Toyota team members, will have a pharmacist on staff in Blue Springs to fill prescriptions, give immunizations and offer medication advice.
Toyota employees can call any prescription to the pharmacy at the plant. It will be operate four days a week when it opens next month, according to the Daily Journal.
“The pharmacy came about because we want to provide our team members with every amenity that we can on site,” Brooke Massey, medical specialist for Toyota Mississippi told the Daily Journal. “And it’s not just for them to pick up their prescriptions and to be convenient. We also want to invest in their health.”
