Walgreens, Postmates expand partnership

Walgreens expanded its partnership with delivery service company Postmates to allow it to deliver over the counter drugs and other Walgreens products to 13 more cities, the companies said March 9.

Walgreens and Postmates first partnered last October to offer delivery services to New York City. The service will now be available in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Portland, Ore., Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Houston.

Through the partnership, residents of the cities can get over-the-counter drugs, health and wellness items from Walgreens delivered to them from Postmates.
