GoodRx said it is powering discounted drug pricing on TrumpRx, a federal direct-to-consumer platform that launched Feb. 5 with prices for 40 high-cost brand-name drugs.
TrumpRx.gov connects patients with manufacturer-set cash prices under most-favored-nation agreements. The platform does not process payments or dispense drugs but links to discounts via partner platforms, including GoodRx, according to a Feb. 5 news release. At launch, 16 of the 17 largest drugmakers had signed on to the framework.
Currently, GoodRx is the integrated pricing source for more than 30 of Pfizer’s essential brand medications listed on TrumpRx, with additional manufacturers expected. Patients can access prices through a Pfizer-branded storefront hosted by GoodRx, with average discounts of 50% and savings up to 85%.
GoodRx leaders said the company’s platform allows pharmaceutical manufacturers to operationalize direct-pay programs, including those aligned with most-favored-nation policies.
TrumpRx is part of the Trump administration’s 2026 healthcare proposal, which calls for Congress to codify international reference pricing and expand access to self-pay discounts. Current drug listings include therapies for diabetes, obesity, arthritis, fertility, asthma and dermatologic conditions.
