The top-paid nonexecutive board chairs in pharma

Seven of the 18 top-paid nonexecutive board chairs were in the pharmaceutical industry last year, according to data from intelligence provider MyLogIQ, cited by the Arizona Republic newspaper.

The other top-paid board chairs worked in the financial services or industrial products industry.

The highest paid nonexecutive board members in pharma in 2018:

1. P. Roy Vagelos (Regeneron Pharma) — $6.3 million

2. Omid Farokhzad (Selecta Biosciences) —  $1.4 million

3. Steven Lund (Nu Skin Enterprises)  — $1.3 million

4. Kevin Starr (Sage Therapeutics) — $1.1 million

5. Iain Dukes (Iovance Biotherapeutics) — $1 million

6. Daniel Lynch (Bluebird Bio) — $1 million

7. Daniel Lynch (Surface Oncology) — $1 million

Daniel Lynch is a board chair at both Bluebird Bio and Surface Oncology.
