The Deerfield headquarters houses 1,000 employees, some of whom will be transferred to the new location or reassigned to work remotely. Some employees will be laid off.
The drugmaker didn’t disclose the number of jobs it will cut, but said the layoffs will begin Aug. 30.
Affected employees will receive severance and transitional support, according to the report.
