Colorado Court Says CRNAs Can Administer Anesthesia

The Colorado Court of Appeals yesterday ruled that nurse anesthetists can administer anesthesia without physician supervision, the Ventura County Star reported.

The ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed by the Colorado Society of Anesthesiologists and the Colorado Medical Society in an attempt to prevent the change.
