Sanofi slashes insulin prices to $35 for month supply

Pharmaceutical company Sanofi plans to lower the cost of its 30-day packages of insulin from $99 to $35 for uninsured Americans with diabetes.

“Sanofi believes that people living with diabetes should not face high out-of-pocket costs at the pharmacy counter,” the company said in a June 29 press release. The Paris-based business said the change will be effective July 1.
