Rite Aid taps new chief accounting officer

Retail pharmacy chain Rite Aid selected Steve Bixler to be the new chief accounting officer and a senior vice president effective Jan. 13. Mr. Bixler will replace Brian Hoover, who is retiring after working at Rite Aid for 27 years.

Mr. Bixler has been at Rite Aid for 21 years and is currently the vice president of financial accounting.
