Pfizer to lay off 119, wind down plant’s construction

Pfizer plans to lay off 119 workers at a facility in Everett, Wash., which the drugmaker acquired in its Seagen deal

The company said in March it would “wind down construction” at the Everett plant, a planned 270,000-square-foot facility expected to be complete by late 2024, according to The Everett Herald

The products planned for the Everett site will be instead manufactured at one in North Carolina. Layoffs will start in June.
