Erie, Pa.-based AHN Saint Vincent has purchased a former Rite Aid pharmacy property for $1.65 million, according to a May 4 report from the Erie Times-News.
The property has been vacant since June, when Rite Aid closed its pharmacies in Erie and across the country.
Hospital officials did not disclose plans for the site, according to the report. The acquisition follows similar purchases of former Rite Aid properties in the area, including a $3.85 million purchase by Erie-based LECOM Health in January and a $2.2 million acquisition by Erie Insurance in 2024, both of which remain vacant.
