OptumRx seeking exec to oversee go-to-market strategy

OptumRx, the pharmacy benefit management unit of UnitedHealth Group, is looking for a chief commercial client officer to oversee the company’s go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities for the role include leading the company’s commercial revenue growth strategy and increasing sales through commercial employers, health plans, partnerships, joint ventures and coalitions. 

The chief commercial client officer will also be tasked with uncovering new pathways to growth through untapped markets or by expanding and scaling existing capabilities. 

OptumRx said it is looking for someone with experience at the senior executive level. 

OptumRx is one of the largest pharmacy benefit managers in the U.S., alongside CVS Caremark and Express Scripts.
