Ohio Northern U had a more than 90% residency match rate for pharmacy grads

Upward of 90 percent of PharmD graduates from Ada-based Ohio Northern University were placed in residency matches, according to an April 28 news release.

The graduating class of 116 were matched to residencies both locally and nationally. 

“The high placement percentages are a marker of our reputation for outstanding graduates,” Steve Martin, PharmD, the dean of pharmacy, said in a statement.

Nationwide, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists announced in March that 4,890 pharmacy graduates were matched to 2,162 residency programs in 2023.
