The new Certified Nurse Medical Affairs Professional Program is a 20-hour, self-paced virtual course that ends with an online certification test.

William Soliman, PhD, founder and CEO of the council, said in a news release the program is “establishing the industry standard for nurse professionals seeking entry into the industry, or looking to expand their skillset and careers in the biopharmaceutical industry.”

“Nurses have deep medical expertise and are critical thinkers, skills that are highly valued and transferrable in the pharmaceutical industry,” he said.
