Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology and the University at Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences have formed an academic pathway that will allow qualified RIT students to pursue a PharmD degree or a master’s in pharmaceutical sciences.
Under the agreement, two eligible RIT students each academic year will be assured an admissions interview for UB’s PharmD program and assured admission to the MS in pharmaceutical sciences program, provided they meet all application and admissions requirements, according to a May 29 University at Buffalo news release.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the institutions and establishes a formal pathway for students to continue their education in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, the release said.
