New York system taps pharmacy director

A three-hospital system in Oswego, N.Y., filled its pharmacy director position with Sarah Driscoll, PharmD, who has been in the role in an interim capacity since June.

In an Oct. 23 news release, Oswego Health said Dr. Driscoll is a “key staff member who continues to shine and has truly stepped up.”

Dr. Driscoll joined Oswego Health in 2013 as a staff pharmacist, and she became pharmacy operations supervisor two years later. As pharmacy director, she will lead 17 employees, strengthen her team’s collaboration with providers and expand the antibiotics stewardship program, the release said.
