Kenny Yu, PharmD, has been named senior vice president and chief pharmacy officer at New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System, according to a March 21 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Yu joins the system from NYU Langone Health, where he spent 16 years in pharmacy leadership roles, including senior director of pharmacy services and director of the system’s 340B program. In those, he led enterprisewide pharmacy strategy, managing regulatory compliance and helping expand pharmacy operations and licensing across ambulatory care sites, according to his LinkedIn page.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Yu held various oncology and ambulatory pharmacy leadership positions at the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center. He also has experience in EHR and technology transitions, including Epic implementation projects for pharmacy workflows.
