A total of 23,196 pharmacy jobs were posted in October, according to JobRx's monthly report.
Here are four things to know about the pharmacy job market:
- An average of 748 pharmacy jobs were posted each day in October.
- There were 8,098 pharmacy job postings in the South, 5,290 in the West, 5,229 in the Midwest and 3,941 in the Northeast.
- There were 8,436 job postings for pharmacists in October. California had the highest number of pharmacist job postings (801), followed by Texas (605), Florida (533) and Pennsylvania (490).
- There were 11,967 job postings for pharmacy technicians in October. Texas had the highest number of pharmacy technician job postings (1,063), followed by Florida (713), California (673) and Tennessee (583).
