Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital has named Amanda Beck, PharmD, to director of hospital operations and pharmacy after 11 years with Houston Methodist.
In her new role, Dr. Beck will work with the hospital’s COO to oversee performance excellence, facilities, environmental services, food and nutrition services and pharmacy, according to a July 7 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Beck most recently served as director of pharmacy at Houston Methodist from June 2024 to June 2026. She holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and a master’s in health-system pharmacy administration from the University of Houston.
