RxSaver is owned by billionaire Ronald Perelman’s marketing firm Vericast. Similarly to GoodRx, it lets consumers compare prescription drug prices across pharmacies and offers discounts through coupons and its website.

Vericast told its investors the deal was made in April during a private call held May 13, sources told Bloomberg.
