The pharmacy is the system’s first to be accessible from the street for patients and community members, instead of being housed within a hospital, according to Jessica Page, PharmD, manager of outpatient pharmacy at Froedtert’s Bluemound campus in Wauwatosa, Wis. The pharmacy also has a drive-thru and is open during the evenings and on weekends.
The pharmacy was part of a $49.5 million project to build a rehab hospital and dermatology clinic at the health system’s Bluemound campus, both of which opened this summer.
