Florida compounding facility recalls all human and animal drugs for lack of sterility assurance

KRS Global Biotechnology, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based drug compounding facility, is recalling all lots of its unexpired human and animal drugs due to lack of sterility assurance.

KRS has not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall.

The drugs were distributed nationwide to hospitals, physician’s offices, surgical centers, pharmacies, veterinary clinics and patients.

KRS is warning customers who have the recalled drugs to stop using them and contact their physician.
