Emory pharmacy leader retires

Julie Temples, the director of pharmacy for information services at Emory Healthcare, is retiring.

She has worked at Emory for more than 40 years, according to a LinkedIn post from Ryan Haumschild, PharmD, vice president of pharmacy at the Atlanta-based system. Ms. Temples pioneered Emory’s first Cerner EHR system in the 1990s, Dr. Haumschild wrote, which helped the recent implementations of Epic and Omnicell.
