Cleveland Clinic pharmacy executive joins ASHP leadership

The American Society of Health‑System Pharmacists has appointed Mandy Leonard, PharmD, vice president of its Office of Accreditation Services, effective July 30.

In her new role, she will oversee strategic and operational initiatives related to the accreditation of pharmacy residency and technician training programs and will serve on ASHP’s senior leadership team, according to a June 23 news release.

Dr. Leonard currently serves as senior director of pharmacy clinical services, drug use policy, formulary management and research for Cleveland Clinic. She previously held several leadership positions at Cleveland Clinic, including senior director of drug use policy and formulary management and assistant director of drug information services and formulary management. She also served as residency director for all Cleveland Clinic residency programs and as residency program director for the postgraduate year 2 drug information residency.
