The company told the publication it is looking to expand from a 34,000-square-foot facility in New Castle to a 200,000-square-foot location near Newark. Accredo is looking to grow its fulfillment abilities, move shipping operations in-house, and address growth in the biosimilar and gene therapy drug markets.

While a lease for the facility is still under negotiation, the company hopes to have half the facility in operation by the end of next year. In September, the state approved a $4.62 million grant for the project.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
