Yessenia Ceja Rubio was accused of stealing at least $13,800 from the pharmacy.
She worked at Vasconi’s from February 2018 until March, when her employer noticed a suspicious transaction, according to the Register. When confronted about the fraudulent returns and refunds, Ms. Rubio allegedly walked out of the store and never returned, the newspaper reported.t.
She faces felony charges of burglary, grand theft, embezzlement and conspiracy.
