Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster, Calif., recently opened a new outpatient pharmacy, according to a March 3 news release.
Antelope Valley said the outpatient pharmacy will enhance continuity of care after hospital visits. The pharmacy offers same-day prescription fulfillment for most medications and administration of long-acting injectables, according to the release.
The 1,248-square-foot pharmacy sits adjacent to the main entrance of the 420-bed hospital.
