Amazon paid $753 million for PillPack, which will become a business unit of the e-commerce giant. The deal was finalized Sept. 11.
The SEC filing says Amazon acquired Pillpack “for cash consideration of approximately 753 million, net of cash acquired, to expand our product and service offerings.” Depending on the cash on hand PillPack had, this could bring the total value to around $1 billion, like previously reported.
