The affected products are in white plastic containers with screw-on lids and a stick-on Herbal Doctor Remedies label. Products don’t have a lot number.
The products, intended to be used as Chinese herbal remedies, were marketed for uses that consumers could not self-diagnose and could potentially harm them, the FDA said.
In addition, the FDA said it found a lack of quality control in the manufacturing process.
Herbal Doctor Remedies is notifying customers by news release and is arranging for the return of the recalled products, the FDA said.
