Yale New Haven Health, Anthem reach 3-year agreement

Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health will remain in Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s network through 2020 under a new contract.

The health system and Anthem reached an agreement 10 months before a scheduled deadline.

Vincent Tammaro, Yale New Haven Health’s CFO, said, “For years, thousands of Anthem members have chosen Yale New Haven Health. This new agreement will ensure that they will continue to have full access to safe accessible care throughout Connecticut and western [Rhode Island].”
