WellCare to transition pharmacy benefits management to CVS Health

Health insurer WellCare Health Plans will transition its pharmacy benefit management to CVS Health Corp. effective Jan. 1, according to Reuters.

The company’s nearly 3.8 million members enrolled in its Medicaid, Medicare and prescription drug plans will now have access to CVS’ pharmacy network, according to the report. 

WellCare made the announcement Thursday.
