U of Iowa Health joins HealthPartners' provider network

The University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City will be considered an in-network provider for Medicare patients with health insurance through HealthPartners UnityPoint Health's health plan, according to The Gazette.

A new agreement, effective Jan. 1, will add U of Iowa Health, including the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, to the provider network of West Des Moines, Iowa-based HealthPartners UnityPoint.
