Wheeling, W. Va.-based The Health Plan is outgrowing its headquarters, which is still under construction, the payer's CEO told the Herald Star.
While construction on The Health Plan's headquarters is scheduled to reach completion during the fourth quarter of this year, President and CEO James Pennington said not all employees will occupy the space. Eighty employees will continue working in a building adjacent to the headquarters, while 375 employees will be housed in the new space.
Officials said the company will lease more space in the adjacent building or expand its headquarters if necessary, according to the report.
Mr. Pennington also said the insurer is in the process of developing a work from home program, which it expects to roll out next year.
