Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital and Cigna have reached a new contract, according to a Herald-Tribune report.
Although details of the new contract have not been disclosed by either party, here are three things about the new contract that have been revealed.
1. The contract allows Cigna members to still be able to pay in-network rates for care at the hospital.
2. The contract will keep SMH in the Cigna network until Sept. 30, 2017.
3. The previous contract was set to expire at midnight Thursday, according to the report.
