BCBSOK spokesperson Lauren Cusick told Muskogee Phoenix it is “working with physicians in the area to transition our members to other hospitals and facilities in our networks” and it “notified contracted physicians of the contract termination so they can begin scheduling procedures for BCBSOK members at other in-network facilities.”

Saint Francis Health System Executive Director of Corporate Communications Lauren Landwerlin did not immediately respond to the publication’s request for comment.
